Position Summary 

Performs workflow functions from customer quotations to accounts receivable maintenance. Negotiates pricing to improve competitiveness, and increase profitability. Schedules orders according to customer demand and/or requests.   

Job Responsibilities 

Your Specific duties in this role will include but not be limited to: 

  • Determining pricing for customer quotations and collaborating with purchasing to provide information for bidding raw components.

  • Maintaining daily contact with customers to provide updates and build relationships.

  • Executing prompt and effective resolutions to customer related issues and concerns, including quality issues, accounts receivable issues and invoicing discrepancies.

  • Maintaining timely communication with production and shipping processes to ensure on time delivery.

  • Maintaining ISO 9000 and TS16949 quality standards.

  • Demonstrating professionalism when representing the company in all communications with internal and external customers. 

Job Requirements 

Specific qualifications for the role include: 

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.

  • College level coursework or 2+ years sales experience.

  • Entrepreneurial approach to balance winning new orders while improving profit margin.

  • Experience with MS Office products required, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • Excellent telephone etiquette, attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Decision-making and problem resolution skills.

  • Flexibility to support multi shift operation.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities and meet deadlines. 

The candidate is required to sit for extended periods of time and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Occasional travel is required.
